Chef Juan Mujica:
For 30 years, Chef Juan Mujica has been delighting the Westchester County area in New York with his creative and delicious dishes. Originally from Peru, where gastronomy is renowned as top-of-the-line in the food industry, he came to the United States at the young age of 17 to explore the diverse cuisines and restaurant options available here. When COVID hit, Chef Juan Mujica relocated to South Florida, embarking on new culinary adventures and working with prestigious restaurants. In 2023, Chef Juan Mujica opened Casita Andina, initially as a take-out-only place due to the pandemic. However, our amazing customers preferred to dine in. By mid-2024, we expanded our waiting area to include more tables, removed the counter, and underwent a significant renovation. This success would not be possible without customers like you who come here to enjoy a piece of Peru. Thank you for visiting us! We strive to provide you with 5-star food and service. My boyfriend and I are Peruvian cuisine fanatics so we make it a habit to try every local place in our area. Our servers name was Patricia who provided excellent service and had extensive menu knowledge. Offered specials, fresh juices & sauces with our meal while also keeping our table clean as we ate. We had lovely conversation and made sure to check on us often to make sure we enjoyed our meal and so we did ! The food portions were very generous and every bite was savory. The owner / manager & chef even came out to each table when the rush was down to make sure every guest was enjoying their meal which definitely set the cherry on top to their style of service. Many blessings to this small business & I hope it continues to grow and continue to provide excellent service & quality food.
Everything we had was delicious. Service was very friendly. Tacu Tacu Lomo Saltado was one of the best. Ceviche was also fresh and tasty. Chaufa very good as well. My friend got the soup, which was massive and very good. Great prices for quality and portions. Will be back!
This was my mother and I first time dining at a Peruvian restaurant and it was so yummy and the portion was very big, we ordered the seafood fried rice, and the fillet fish with a side of salad and yucca, our server was very attentive and educated us about the Peruvian country while we were eating our food I would highly recommend coming here.

Amazing experience! From the many manu choices to the flavor and presentation of the food and the very friendly atmosphere. Stefanie our waitress made us feel like we were at a "Casita Andina".

Best Ceviche in South Florida. We ordered the Duo de Ceviches y Jalea and it was delicious. The place is spotless clean and the service was excellent. Stephanie our server was super nice and attentive. Their minestrone is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

A small little hole on the wall restaurant, first time here. The young waitress that took care of us was very nice, but a bit confusing when taking orders, the specials are a must try, they have plates that I haven't seen in other peruvian places, we ordered mix ceviche, and octopus in olive sauce which was beyond amazing! Then we ordered the parrillada, which it was huge and wished the waitress would have mentioned this, we asked to be medium-well and it came our medium-rare, not cool, had it to send it back. We also ordered pollo a la brasa, and I was told I couldn't order to eat in that it was only to go, which we found weird but ended up getting getting to eat in. All the food tasted it really good besides the issues that we encounter, owners were there and were super nice and attentive, we'll def come back.
Food was delicious, everything came out fresh. I ordered the pollo a brasa & it was amazing. First time going & will definitely be going back. Our server Sarai was great!

Absolute gem of a restaurant! Our server, Stephanie, was great. She walked us through the menu, suggested platters and was very attentive to anything we needed. We had the Tuna Causa, Ceviche de Pescado and Risoto a la Huancaina con Lomo Saltado. Phenomenal authentic Peruvian dishes - even their chicha morada is made in house. A must try!

I had an outstanding experience at this establishment. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. The waitress in particular, stood out with her exceptional professionalism and friendly demeanor at the front. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. The service itself exceeded my expectations—not only in terms of quality but also in the reasonable pricing, which offered incredible value. The food was excellent. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, fair pricing, and a friendly atmosphere, I can’t recommend this place enough

Small family owned restaurant with amazing food and service. We ordered the Risotto with Lomo Saltado and Papa a la Huancaina and it was absolutely delicious. Big portions and decently priced. Also very clean and inviting.
